Future Glory

“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.”
-Romans 8:18-19

Nothing in this life compares. Nothing is too big for God to handle. If we live by the Spirit and have the Spirit living in us, we are never alone in our walks. This life has many great opportunities for better lives and for making our time here on Earth enjoyable, but even those things don’t truly matter. They are not worth comparing with the glory that is to come. God is the master of everything. He created us so that we may live for Him, but He also gave us the choice of what paths we choose to take in our lives. I think that is the greatest thing of all. He wants us to want Him, to go after Him passionately. The creation waits in eager expectation to find out which paths we choose to take, which way we decide to shift our minds. We are all sons and daughters of God, and all He wants is for us to come back to Him. I couldn’t even begin to image what eternal life with Him would be like: the great thing beyond Earth. I pray today for passion, longing, zeal, knowledge, and wisdom so that I can increase my faith and live for Him always.

signs, signs, everywhere signs.

This weekend has opened my eyes so much. All of this quality time has made me see a lot of things. And I know that our praying and thinking about it is definitely working and we are definitely in the right place. All of the conversations that have been brought up have taught me a lot about who and what I want. It really has been one of the best weekends I’ve ever had, even though it was as simplistic as ever. It’s just what I needed. I don’t think it’s by chance…You and I both know that God has a major plan. Patience is definitely the key here, but I’m willing to wait and see what happens. As it has been brought to our attention throughout the weekend through different things (signs, I’m telling you…they’re everywhere), “the best things come to those who wait”.

"She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future."

My husband better love Frank Sinatra, because whether he knows it or not, we will be listening to and dancing to his music a lot.
